During Easter time we were very busy and made Easter nests with the children. For this purpose, paper plates were painted and designed as rabbits or chicks.
Dyeing Easter eggs was also on our program and the children had a lot of fun doing it.
Kamishibai storytelling theater: what is actually Easter
With our Kamishibai storytelling theater, we read the Easter story to the children. So they learned why we actually celebrate Easter and what happened on Easter.
For the Easter celebration, there was a joint breakfast in the garden with all the children of the farm day care center. This was a great celebration where we also ate our homemade Easter lambs.
Easter breakfast, Easter bunny dance and egg hunt
After breakfast, the children set out to look for the hidden Easter eggs in the garden. There was also an Easter bunny dance performed on the big lawn and all the eggs and Easter bunnies found were shared fairly at the end.
We had beautiful weather and the kids really enjoyed our Easter celebration!
