For happy children who get to use all their senses and experience the seasons in nature: Farm, Nature & Forest Kindergarten Winter is just around the corner – possibly a winter of less heating. But the children in our farm daycare center don’t mind, they are used to being outside in wind and weather.

The caterpillars moved in with us at the beginning of July! Together with the children, the stage of development is observed and documented with the help of the “butterfly clock”. The caterpillars, which are completely different in shape from the moths, also feed quite differently. Usually the eggshell is eaten first after hatching. Subsequently, the caterpillars of most butterfly species eat leaves, needles, flowers, seeds, or fruits of various plants, with many species being specialized and dependent on specific plants…….
Potato cycle – our contribution to the Eco Kids Project 2022 This year we are again participating in an ecokids project. This time we have chosen the theme “the potato cycle”. The children kept finding small potatoes, which were left in the beds from last year.

Nature, an adventure not only for our children Smallest creatures, greatest fascination! Marie crouches down and stares, transfixed, at a blade of grass in the meadow on which sits a tiny yellow snail. No, Marie notes, the snail is not sitting, but creeping very gradually up the stalk, leaving a shiny trail that sparkles in all the colors of the rainbow. Marie is completely fascinated.
